Confucius Institute to host Chinese Culture Fair
The Confucius Institute will host its second Chinese Culture Fair from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in the Fiedler/Rathbone Hall atrium. The event will feature Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting, opera mask painting, paper lantern and windmill making, chopstick challenge, photo booth with traditional Chinese costumes, Chinese snacks and more.
All programs are free and open to the public. The fair will include prizes, hands-on activities for adults, children and families to enjoy. Jan. 28 also is the Chinese New Year, so join the institute in celebrating the Year of the Rooster and experience the Chinese culture through games, crafts, music, fashion and food.
