Communication studies graduate student awarded Top Four Paper at Western States Communication Association conference
Dan Cutter, a second-year master's student in communication studies and the author of "The City that poisoned itself: Opacity, openness, and silence in Governor Rick Snyder's emails concerning the Flint, Michigan water crisis" will be recognized at the annual convention of the Western States Communication Association, Feb. 18-21, in Salt Lake City.
Every year, the association recognizes the top papers in each of its groups at its annual convention. Cutter submitted his findings to the Freedom of Expression and Political Communication group and will be featured at its Top Four Papers panel.
