College of Arts and Sciences dean candidate finalists
The search committee announces three finalists who will interview for dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Amit Chakrabarti, professor and interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Kansas State University, will interview Feb. 26-28. The open forum will be 1:30-2:45 p.m. Feb. 27 in Alumni Center Banquet Rooms B and C.
- Wayne Jones Jr., professor and chair of department of chemistry at Binghamton University, will interview March 6-8. The open forum will be 1:30-2:45 p.m. March 7 in Alumni Center Banquet Rooms B and C.
- J.S. "Jeff" Elwell, professor and dean of the College Arts and Sciences at University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, will interview March 7-9. The open forum will be 1:30-2:45 p.m. March 8 in Alumni Center Banquet Rooms A and D.

K-Staters are encouraged to attend the open forum presentations titled "Strategic Vision for Successfully Leading the College of Arts and Sciences: Research, Diversity and the Undergraduate/Graduate Experience." For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost's search website as well as a link to an online candidate feedback form.
