Architecture professor talks about Disney at Anaheim teaching conference
Mick Charney, associate professor of architecture and university distinguished teaching scholar, conducted the workshop "Decoding Disney: Translating Imagineering Tricks into Teaching Strategies" at the Lilly Conference on College and University Teaching and Learning, Feb. 23-26, in Anaheim, California, home of Disneyland.
Charney is an honorary Walt Disney Imagineer and previously conducted the same workshop at the Hawaii International Conference on Education, Jan. 3-6, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He also delivered the paper "The End of Lectures: Students' Perceptions of Large Classes" at the Conference on Academic Research in Education, Jan. 30-31, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
