Sustainable Crop-Livestock seminar features Henning Steinfeld from Food and Agricultural Organization
The colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine are hosting Henning Steinfeld from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the U.N. for a special seminar from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in Town Hall in the Leadership Studies Building.
Steinfeld, who is head of the livestock sector analysis and policy branch at the FAO in Rome, Italy, will present the topic, "Sustainable Food and Agriculture — the Case for Systems Integration."
This event is part of the Sustainable Crop-Livestock Brown Bag Seminar series and is free and open to the public.
