Professional Space workshop for middle and high school students interested in STEM careers

Middle and high school students with an interest in science disciplines are invited to participate in the math department's Professional Space workshop from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Friday, May 12, in 102 Cardwell Hall.

Guest speakers Sarah Reznikoff, mathematics; Timothy Durrett, biochemistry and molecular biophysics; and Aleksey Y. Sheshukov, biological and agricultural engineering, will speak on their research and career in mathematics, biochemistry and hydrology.

The workshop will be followed by the state award ceremony for the winners of the 2017 Math Kangaroo competition.
