Optional syllabi statements update
Deans, department heads, faculty and graduate teaching assistants:
We are pleased to let you know we have posted two new optional syllabi statements on the course syllabi website. One of the statements provides general information about the university weapons policy and the other provides more specific information regarding concealed carry. I want to thank Faculty Senate, the Weapons Advisory Work Group and others on campus who have provided input in the development of these statements.
We encourage you to review these two optional statements, and if you wish to do so, you may include them in your syllabi for any academic sessions that begin after July 1.
