Volunteers needed with high blood pressure
Submitted by Jacob T. Caldwell
K-State researchers are currently recruiting male and female volunteers with high blood pressure, ages 18-65 years, to participate in a research project at the Physical Activity and Nutrition Clinical Research Consortium, or PAN-CRC, within Lafene Health Center.
Anyone diagnosed with high blood pressure is eligible for participation. You will be asked to perform handgrip exercise following ingestion of beetroot juice or a placebo juice. By volunteering, you will help us determine how beetroot juice impacts your ability to control blood pressure and blood flow.
