Computing and information sciences department to host talk on developing Android games and apps
The department of computing and information sciences will host a how-to talk on developing Android games and apps from 3:30-5:30 p.m. today in 019 Nichols Hall.
Matthew Miller, doctoral student in computing and information sciences, will introduce key concepts of Android apps and how to build them through Google's Android Development Tool Eclipse plugin. Miller will also discuss Android games development including how to use Android 2D/3D graphics and sound application programming interfaces and such interfaces for accessing mobile device sensors.
