Communicators' Brown Bag Thursday to discuss new documentary on first-year teachers in Kansas
Join the Communicators' Brown Bag group at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, in the Cottonwood Room of the K-State Student Union.
Rusty Earl, video producer for the College of Education, will offer insights into the planning and filming of his latest documentary on first-year school teachers in Kansas. The project, capturing the testimonies and events of five first-year teachers through their lens in the classroom, will shed light into what it takes to execute a documentary for an extended amount of time — one full year — and the benefit of telling stories that are perhaps longer than you are used to sharing. Social media development and new video collaboration tools will be shared.
Hope to see you there!
The Cottonwood Room opens at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation will start at 11:45 a.m.
