Talking animals, buried treasure and a daring rescue all part of 'My Father's Dragon' Oct. 26 at McCain

"My Father's Dragon," the Newbery Honor-winning classic about a courageous young boy and his unlikely friendship with a yellow- and blue-striped dragon, comes to Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, in McCain Auditorium.
Presented by the Enchantment Theatre Company, "My Father's Dragon" is based on the stories by Ruth Stiles Gannett. This live puppet show features talking animals, buried treasure, a dragon rescue and plenty of humor. "My Father's Dragon" is recommended for kids in kindergarten through the fifth grade, ages 4-10.
Tickets are available at the McCain Auditorium box office, online at k-state.edu/mccain, or by calling 785-532-6428. All Kansas State University students and kids 18 and under are half-price. Other discounts are available for seniors, military, university faculty and staff, and for groups of 10 or more.
