Little Apple Renaissance Festival brings groups together across campus
Submitted by College of Human Ecology
Come to the Little Apple Renaissance Festival and support K-State. Travel back into 15th- and 16th-century Italy from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at City Park.
Students in the College of Human Ecology's Capstone course contacted organizations on campus to get involved, and the hospitality management department helped plan and execute the inaugural festival this year.
Student clubs, fraternities, and departments participating include the Plant Breeding and Genetics Club, Pre-Health Ambassadors Club, Professional Event Management Society, League of United Latin American Citizens, On the Spot Improv, the Renaissance Quartet from the music and theatre programs, Chemistry Fraternity, and many more.
Dukes, duchesses, jesters, gypsies and everything in between are welcome to join in on the festivities. We hope the turkey legs, entertainment, and vendors peak your fancy. Admission is free and costumes are encouraged.
Come show your support for K-State students universitywide in their first collaborative event. For more information, email kstaterenfest@gmail.com.
