Geography faculty candidate to discuss sustainability in the era of big data
Lei Zou, postdoctoral researcher in the environmental sciences department at Louisiana State University, will give a public lecture at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in the Big 12 Room of the K-State Student Union. The title of the presentation is "Achieving a Sustainable Society in the Big Data Era."
Zou is a candidate for the nature society faculty position in the geography department.
The presentation is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society, and the geography department.
