Legislative update
The Conference Committee on H.R.1 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has been appointed and will meet to reach an agreement on a bill that can pass the House and Senate.
There are many provisions in both the House and Senate bills that impact higher education. A full description of these provisions can be found on the government relations website.
A public meeting of the Conference Committee will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the United States Capitol building. The conferees are:
