Application open for potential Truman scholars
Campus applications for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship are due March 12. Kansas State University seeks to nominate four individuals to forward to the national competition. The Truman Scholarship awards up to $30,000 to support graduate study for students aspiring to a career in public service. Since 1980, Kansas State University students have competed successfully more than 30 times.
Students eligible to apply in this year's application cycle must plan on graduating between December 2019 and August 2020. Students also must rank in the top 25 percent of their class.
To learn more about this prestigious scholarship, attend one of four information sessions at 8:30 a.m. or 3 p.m. on Feb. 14 and 15. All information sessions in 215 Fairchild Hall.
