Huron Consulting Services LLC to provide strategic enrollment management consultant services
Submitted by Office of the President
The university's effort to rethink K-State's enrollment strategies will be launched in the new year. A request for proposal was issued in October for strategic enrollment management consultant services to assist the university to develop an effective foundation to grow enrollment while promoting student success now and in the future. Huron Consulting Services LLC, a national consulting firm, has been selected to undertake this work.
The Huron team has been asked to collaborate with key stakeholders throughout our university community to evaluate our current enrollment and retention practices and trends and develop a comprehensive plan with actionable strategies for enhancing enrollment management operations, marketing and communications, recruitment, admissions, financial aid, capacity, and student success and retention. This work will be inclusive of our entire student population — first-time/full-time, transfer, international, resident and nonresident populations. This project will focus on the Manhattan and Global campuses, but will not include the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Provost April Mason and Vice President Pat Bosco are directing the project. Work will begin immediately and take place in multiple phases over 16 weeks. More details will be shared in the coming weeks as work begins.
