Diane Swanson, Edgerley family chair in business administration and professor of management, will again teach at a prestigious summer program for executive education offered on the Dartmouth College campus.
The Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management, an offering of the National Association of Credit Management, was started 70 years ago.
Swanson is the ethics professor for the program and is teaching a course she designed especially for the program, Ethics in Business and Society. Her course will be taught June 23-26. Her students will be senior credit managers for major firms in the U.S. and abroad. It's the eighth year Swanson has been an instructor for the program.
Swanson teaches undergraduate, graduate and continuing professional education courses in business and society, professional ethics, and accounting and business ethics. She is also the founding chair of the university's Ethics Education Initiative, which has received international acclaim. Her record includes publishing widely on business ethics, corporate social responsibility, leadership and organizational dynamics; serving on editorial boards; holding governing positions in academic associations; and interviewing frequently with the media.
