Tell your Strengths story at new event, 'Strengths in Action: MyStrengthStories Brought to Life'
Kansas State University Blue Key Senior Honorary, in conjunction with K-State CliftonStrengths for Students, will host "Strengths in Action: MyStrengthStories Brought to Life" from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to participate in this TED-style event featuring speakers who will share their story of how CliftonStrengths has influenced their way of living, working, learning and being. Refreshments will be provided and the event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are requested.
The planning committee, with representatives from Blue Key, the Staley School of Leadership Studies, and K-State CliftonStrengths, invite you to audition to serve as a speaker for the inaugural event. Speakers with diverse backgrounds, perspectives and stories are encouraged to apply. Help us showcase how Strengths have been powerful in the lives of K-Staters and community members alike. Please send a brief audition video, including your name and contact information, with an outline of the talk you would like to deliver to Molly Bassette at mabassette@k-state.edu by 5 p.m Monday, Jan. 29. Presentations are limited to six minutes.
Individuals who wish to apply in person are invited to request a time between 4-6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, in Room 247 of the Leadership Studies Building.
