Three finalists to be interviewed for assistant vice president for university risk and compliance officer

The search committee announces three finalists who will interview for the assistant vice president for university risk and compliance officer position. This position will be responsible for developing a collaborative compliance program that mitigates K-State's compliance risks and assist in identifying and managing other risks across the university.
Steve Kieff, assistant vice president of enterprise risk management at Baylor University, will interview on campus Jan. 22.
Blake Abbe, executive director of risk management at Texas Woman's University, will interview on campus Jan. 23.
Laura Betzold, chief risk officer and associate general counsel at the University of Wyoming, will interview on campus Jan. 24.
The candidates will meet with university stakeholders during their on-campus interview. Resumes for each candidate may be found on the vice president for administration and finance website.
A final candidate is planned to be announced in February.
