Here are some recent scholarly activities by members of the K-State Libraries faculty and staff.
- Thomas Bell, faculty and graduate services librarian, presented "The Short, Blissful Life of Shoegaze and the Death of Guitar Rock" at the annual meeting of the Mountains-Plains chapter of the Music Library Association in Colorado Springs, Colo., May 18-19.
- Donna F. Ekart, communications coordinator, published "Dancing on the Head of a Pin" in Computers in Libraries.
- Leo Lo, research and development librarian, published "A Conversation with Incoming ALA Presdient Maureen Sullivan" in Library Leadership and Management, May 2012.
- Lo and Jason Coleman, undergraduate and community services librarian, presented "An Assessment of the Team-Based Embedded Librarianship Model" at the LOEX Conference in Columbus, Ohio, May 3-5.
