Honor Pledge translations available
Each year, K-State welcomes approximately 1,800 students from more than 100 countries into the K-State family. While most of these students do come to campus writing and speaking English already, we recognize that the idea of an honor pledge may be a new idea or concept culturally to some of our international students.
Thanks to the work of English Language Program faculty staff and some current K-State students, the K-State Honor Pledge, "On my honor, as a student, I have neither given nor received unauthorized aid on this academic work," as well as a summary of what it means has been translated into 10 languages to help assist our international students.
We encourage you to use these translations as you talk about the honor pledge and the Honor and Integrity System with your students. Current translations include the following: Arabic, Chinese, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
