K-State JMC to host How I Landed My Job talk with public relations alumna Danielle Calhoun
The A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications will host alumna Danielle Calhoun as part of its How I Landed My Job lecture series from 4-5 p.m. Monday, March 5, in 105 Kedzie Hall.
Calhoun graduated from K-State in 2008 and is now a director of platform strategy at Weber Shandwick San Francisco. Weber Shandwick is a global public relations firms with offices in major media, business and government capitals around the world. Calhoun does social media planning for companies such as Dolby, Unilever, Ribera y Rueda Wines, and the U.S. Army.
Calhoun will discuss her time at K-State, her job search process and current trends and practices in the social media marketing industry.
Students, faculty and staff from all departments are encouraged to attend the event.
