Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Training on campus July 31
Kansas State University’s eight-hour refresher course in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (Hazwoper) will be July 31 on the Manhattan campus.
This recertification training is designed for individuals who have already completed the 40-hour or 24-hour Hazwoper training. It is open to both faculty and students working with hazardous substances in the laboratory or field sites, as well as first responders or industry hazardous materials handlers.
The course covers OSHA safety elements and includes a certificate of completion. Registration deadline is July 17.
