Social Services Career Meet-Up
Students are invited to attend the Social Services Career Meet-Up from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in the Berney Family Welcome Center Great Room.
This free networking event brings employers and students together to facilitate connections within the social/community services and nonprofit fields.
More than 25 organizations will be in attendance including: KVC Health Systems; TFI Family Services; Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community; Project Eagle, University of Kansas Medical Center; Johnson County Sheriff's Office; Integrated Behavioral Technologies; Johnson County Corrections; K-State Research and Extension; U.S. Peace Corps; Saint Francis Community Services; Riley County Police Department; ReDiscover; Kansas City Missouri Police Department; Girls on the Run of the Flint Hills; Growing Future Early Education Center; Fort Riley Child and Youth Services; Coming Together for a Cure; Boys and Girls Club of Manhattan; All Hands and Hearts–Smart Response; and Flint Hills Volunteer Center; among others.
Both undergraduate and graduate students from all majors are welcome to explore full-time, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities.
Attendees should bring multiple copies of their resume, business cards — optional — and dress in business casual attire.
