Provost names search committee for interim dean and CEO of K-State Polytechnic

April Mason, provost and senior vice president, has appointed the search committee for an interim dean and CEO of K-State Polytechnic. This will be an internal search open to all current employees of Kansas State University, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2018.
Search committee members are:
- Kevin Gwinner, committee chair, dean of the College of Business Administration.
- Patricia Ackerman, professor in the Polytechnic School of Integrated Studies.
- Kooper Bardin, sophomore in aeronautical technology.
- Raju Dandu, professor in the Polytechnic School of Integrated Studies.
- Pamela Erickson, director of student and faculty services at K-State Global Campus.
- Terri Gaeddert, director of academic operations at K-State Polytechnic.
- Annette Hernandez, office specialist in the Polytechnic School of Integrated Studies.
- Daran Neuschafer, American Family Insurance — Neuschafer & Associates, Inc.
- Nicholas Ramirez, junior in aeronautical technology.
- Tim Rogers, executive director of Salina Airport Authority.
- Eric Shappee, professor in the Polytechnic School of Integrated Studies.
- Andrew Smith, professor in the Polytechnic School of Integrated Studies.
- Christopher Smith, executive director of enrollment management and marketing at K-State Polytechnic.
- Richard Zajac, professor in the Polytechnic School of Integrated Studies.
The interim dean and CEO of K-State Polytechnic will take over leadership for Verna Fitzsimmons who will retire. A national search will be conducted later for permanent leadership with more details to follow.
