Marching Band to host scholarship golf tournament May 19
The Kansas State University Marching Band will host the eighth annual Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 19. All proceeds from this event will go toward scholarships for the upperclassmen of the K-State Marching Band and Classy Cats.
This four-person golf scramble will be played at Colbert Hills. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch is provided with golfer registration as well as course contests — putting contest, closest to the pin, longest drive, etc. — a silent auction, and a good time no matter how much practice you have.
More information can be found online, or call the band office at 785-532-3816 if you have any questions.
