Seminar on evolution of outer membrane proteins with Joanna Slusky
Joanna Slusky, assistant professor of molecular biosciences at the University of Kansas, will present "The complex evolution of outer membrane proteins" as the student invited seminar at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, in 221 Ackert Hall. She integrates computational biology, protein design and molecular biology to study antibiotic resistance and the outer membrane proteins found in bacteria.
Slusky also will be present to meet with students at a poster session. Students are encouraged to bring posters from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Chalmers Atrium.
