KSU Foundation: 1880 Kimball Avenue to offer community and K-State Office Park partner-tenants world-class amenities
As KSU Foundation prepares for an August 2018 opening of the newest addition to the K-State Office Park, 1880 Kimball Avenue, officials have announced site amenities that will be offered to the community and to partner-tenants of the office park. A highlight of these conveniences will be the locally owned Bluestem Grill, which will open to the public as a full-service dining option at the north edge of Kansas State University's Manhattan campus. The new facility will also feature rentable meeting space for larger groups. Public Wi-Fi will be available throughout the park and an ATA bus stop has been proposed for the location.
Partner-tenant companies at the K-State Office Park are required to support the university's mission. Companies will have access to event and meeting spaces, high-end voice and video services, internet speeds of up to one gigabyte and common areas designed to foster collaboration. Employees will have secure 24-hour access to their suite as well as the new on-site fitness center.
"This investment invites high-achieving corporate partners to collaborate with the incredible student and faculty research talent fostered at Kansas State University," said Greg Lohrentz, KSU Foundation senior vice president of operations and finance. "As we invite world-class corporate partners to create a home at K-State, we must offer innovative world-class services that exceed their expectations."
Partner-tenants of the K-State Office Park will enjoy high-traffic visibility along Kimball Avenue and access to balconies overlooking Bill Snyder Family Stadium, the National Bio and Agro-defense Facility and K-State's legacy campus. Flexible office and light-lab spaces ranging from 1,200-18,000 square feet of contiguous space are available for lease.
