Movies on the Grass film: 'STRAWS' Sept. 16

Movies on the Grass will show the film "STRAWS" at 8 p.m. Sept. 16 at Sunset Zoo.
According to the film's website, "With colorful straw history animation narrated by Oscar winner Tim Robbins, 'STRAWS' (30 minutes) leaves audiences with a clear understanding of the problems caused by plastic pollution and empowers individuals to be part of the solution."
Movies on the Grass offers the campus and community new films that portray current issues in an informal setting. This is a free film series now in its 14th year.
The next Movies on the Grass film will be "Step" with a dance performance at 7 p.m. and film at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in Town Hall of the Leadership Studies Building.
The series also co-sponsors the UPC free screening of "Charlie vs. Goliath" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Wildcat Chamber at the K-State Student Union.
