- Goal-setting and action plan development
- Workshops on time management, preparing for exams, loan repayment, scholarship tips, etc.
- Graduate school test and application assistance
- Free access to cultural events
- Funding opportunities, including the possibility of receiving a grant
The Educational Supportive Services team includes Kathleen Greene, director; Scott Velasquez, academic services coordinator; Paulicia Bender Williams, student services coordinator; and Geralyn Tracz, program associate.
Interested? Educational Supportive Services accepts 300 students to participate each year. To be eligible, a student must meet one or more of the eligibility requirements: be from an income-limited family, be part of the first generation in their family to be earning a four-year degree, and/or have a documented disability. If you believe you may be eligible, stop by the office in 102 Holton Hall, call 785-532-5642 or email essinfo@k-state.edu. All students will either become a part of the Educational Supportive Services program or will be connected with a University Success Center resource that meets their needs.
