College of Business Administration will kick off Kansas City series to a full house at K-State Olathe
The College of Business Administration will kick off a professional series for the Kansas City area market to a full house at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 30 at Kansas State University Olathe.
The college hosts professional education seminars to enhance the leadership and business knowledge of professionals on applied business concepts. Registration was capped at 150 and was met before the sign-up deadline on Aug. 22.
Guest speakers for the event include Stan Weber, ’84, K-State sports broadcaster and vice president and CFO of Tower Properties of Kansas City; Ali Malekzadeh, dean of the College of Business Administration; and Dan Richardson, CEO of K-State Olathe.
"The outstanding response to this event is indicative of the tremendous support we are getting for our Olathe programs, particularly from our K-State alumni base in the Kansas City region," Richardson said. "K-State Olathe has eased access to K-State's high-quality programs, and this is the beginning of our ability to leverage our presence in Johnson County and the metro to benefit those programs and the university as a whole."
