Professor of music teaches master classes in Hong Kong and Singapore
Slawomir Dobrzanski, professor of music, taught piano master classes and individual piano lessons at Hong Kong Baptist University and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore, during November.
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance has had students from Hong Kong Baptist University in the past, which yielded this invitation to Dobrazanski to teach four master classes. Dobrazanski also was invited to teach individual lessons at the renowned Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore. Dobranski's students in Singapore were all from the studio of the famous Philippine pianist Albert Tiu.
Faculty in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance have received Grammy awards and nominations and Emmy awards; produced recordings on international and national CD labels; published books and journal articles with international and national publishing houses and professional organizations; and performed and presented research in every continent in the world, except Antarctica.
