Muriago performs in New York City, Texas and Shanghai
Agustin Muriago, Kansas State University instructor of piano, has recently completed a tour that included recitals at the Yamaha Piano Salon in New York City, Amarillo College in Texas and Concord Music in Shanghai. Muriago also taught a master class at Concord Music and connected with other piano teachers during his trip to China.
Muriago and colleague Slawomir Dobrzanski, professor of piano, will perform a piano duet recital of French music on Feb. 1, 2019, as part of the Hale Library Concert Series.
Faculty in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance have received Grammy awards and nominations and Emmy awards; produced recordings on international and national CD labels; published books and journal articles with international and national publishing houses and professional organizations; and performed and presented research in every continent in the world, except Antarctica.
