Retirement reception for Richard Baker
Please join the communications and agricultural education department in celebrating the career of Richard Baker, longtime radio news director and associate professor, from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, in 312 Umberger Hall.
Baker is retiring this month after serving as an on-air and behind-the-scenes leader for the K-State Radio Network since 1977 and as an instructor in agricultural business communication and audio/visual production since 2002. Formerly the news director for KKSU, Baker has produced the weekly interview program, "Perspective," for more than 40 years. He was also coach and adviser for the Kansas State University Softball Club from 2001-2012.
Please help the College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension celebrate Baker's four decades of service and wish him well in retirement.
