'Breaking Down Roadblocks to Student Success' is theme of annual spring FETE workshop
Registration is up and running for the annual Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence, or FETE, workshop Feb. 1-2, 2019, at the K-State Alumni Center. The theme is "Breaking Down Roadblocks to Student Success" and Todd Zakrajsek is the keynote presenter.
Many of you have attended workshops with Zakrajsek, and you know that he gives excellent resources that you can immediately use in your classes to help our students succeed.
These midyear workshops are wonderful opportunities to learn more about teaching excellence and to meet your colleagues from across campus. The workshops begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, and be completed by 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, will start at 8:30 a.m. with a breakfast catered by The Friendship House. The workshop starts at 9 a.m. and you will be home by lunch.
Go to the Teaching and Learning Center website for more information and to register. The registration link is at the end of the information about the event, "Breaking Down Roadblocks to Student Success."
We sincerely hope that all of you will join us and attend this event planned by your FETE Advisory Board and the FETE coordinator, Peggy Honey. It is going to be a celebration of teaching and learning, and you will be so thankful you attended.
