Hazardous Waste Awareness Training dates for spring 2019

The Department of Environmental Health and Safety is continuing to offer sessions of Hazardous Waste Awareness Training, WTD080. The intended audience is individuals responsible for hazardous waste management, specifically for researchers and employees who generate the waste material and whose responsibility continues through the transportation and disposal process. This training emphasizes the importance of properly identifying, handling and disposing of all hazardous wastes.
Sessions are offered in 11 Edwards Hall on the following dates and times: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11; Monday, Feb. 18; 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 5; and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 17.
There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Participants may register through HRIS Self-Service or email Megan Hoelting at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID, course title, course number (WTD080) and date desired.
