Departments invited to participate in inaugural Free for All Friday
Submitted by Center for Student Involvement
As the spring 2019 semester nears its start, the Center for Student Involvement invites university departments, colleges and units to participate in its inaugural Free for All Friday event during the Week of Welcome festivities.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, on Bosco Student Plaza, weather permitting. The weather location will be in the K-State Student Union courtyard.
Free for All Friday is designed to give departments, colleges and units the opportunity to connect with students and remind them of available resources across campus. This event is not intended to be your traditional browsing fair, but rather we ask participating departments to have a quality giveaway at their table for student attendees. Giveaways may range from pocket hand sanitizers to cups to phone wallets to snacks or treats to apparel, but it should be more than a flier or ink pen. The Center for Student Involvement will provide hot chocolate.
Interested departments may sign up to participate via the registration form.
Questions can be directed to Ashley Douglass at aldouglass@k-state.edu or 785-532-6541.
More information about Week of Welcome activities will be made available in another K-State Today article in the days leading up to the start of classes.
