'Just Doug' and 'Ella': Film screening and discussion with director Dan Chen
The Beach Museum of Art will host a reception for director Dan Chen with film screenings of "Just Doug" and "Ella" beginning at 5:30 p.m. A discussion with the artist will follow.
Chen grew up in Manhattan and now works as a filmmaker in Los Angeles. His films tell stories about being Asian-American in Hollywood and growing up Asian-American in a small Midwest town.
Presented in partnership with the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies and K-State's Asian American Student Union.
