Noontime Yoga offered during summer
K-State Noontime Yoga, a free volunteer-based program that provides an outlet for students, staff, faculty, and community members, will be offered during the summer. Come practice yoga together in a friendly, noncompetitive environment.
Noontime Yoga is sponsored by Nonviolence Studies and Programs and the UFM Community Learning Center.
The group meets from 12:05-12:50 p.m. Monday through Friday in 301 Ahearn Field House Gymnasium. Enter the building on the north side with the word "Gymnasium" over the doors, then go through the door on your immediate left, and take the stairs all the way up to the third floor.
Sign up for the group email list to receive information about schedules, cancellations and upcoming events and/or join the K-State Noontime Yoga Facebook group.
See the Noontime Yoga flier for more information.
All are welcome and there are no requirements to attend. Please sign in each time on the participation waiver and attendance sheet. Show up when you can, even if you have to be a little late or need to leave a little early. We ask that you please enter and exit quietly so you don't disturb the rest of the class.
Yoga classes are for all levels and abilities. You are encouraged to listen to your body and modify poses as necessary. The group's yoga leaders are volunteers from K-State and the community.
Feel free to bring a yoga mat if you have one but loaner mats are available. Wear comfortable clothing.
If you have any questions, email the coordinator Crystal Strauss at strauss@k-state.edu.
