Wildcat Dialogues offers an intercultural learning and leadership experience for students
Wildcat Dialogues, an intercultural learning and leadership event designed for first-year students, is scheduled to take place from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in the K-State Student Union Ballrooms.
Please mark your calendar, place it in your syllabus, and plan to join us with your students for a night of courageous conversation to build connections, practice intercultural learning, and explore inclusive leadership development. Additionally, this event seeks to advance what we value most at K-State: family. Together we will hear stories from a panel of student leaders about their K-State experience, followed by small group discussions facilitated by students, faculty and staff from across the university.
Last fall, through intentional collaborations among many campus partners, we gathered more than 1,000 new students together to engage conversations that elevate intercultural learning and development of the K-State family. This year, we want to grow the event by reaching as many students, faculty and staff as possible to help contribute to the conversation and continue building on our commitment to intercultural learning at K-State.
Students, faculty and staff can RSVP to attend at the Staley School of Leadership Studies website.
We also encourage faculty, staff and returning students to sign up to serve as small group facilitators as well. Our committee members are willing to come and talk to your department or student group about the Wildcat Dialogues event and what it means to be a small group facilitator.
Please share this message with your team and any student organizations you may advise.
