College of Health and Human Sciences welcomes new faculty and staff at annual meeting

The College of Health and Human Sciences officially welcomed new faculty and staff at its annual all-college meeting on Aug. 19. During the meeting, the following new faculty and staff members were recognized and welcomed as employees of the college:

Georges Fares, instructor of interior design, department of apparel, textiles, and interior design.

Chelsea Spencer, research assistant professor, couple and family therapy; Jessica Partida, project consultant, 4-H military partnerships; Alison Hayward, program coordinator; Kristin Anders, research assistant professor; Emily Johnson, clinical assistant professor, communication sciences and disorders; Derek Lawson, assistant professor, personal financial planning; Megan McCoy, professor of practice, personal financial planning; Brett Mallon, instructor, conflict resolution; Gabrielle DeLoach, instructor, Stone House Early Childhood Education Center; and Twambi Kerstetter; academic advisor, human development and family science, all with the School of Family Studies and Human Services. Jill Parker, previous advisor in the school for multiple programs, will be the new academic advisor for personal financial planning.

Kimberly Wagner, School of Family Studies and Human Services and the food, nutrition, dietetics and health department, will serve as the academic advisor for communication sciences and disorders and nutrition and health students.

Bernadette Olsen, clinical education coordinator and instructor, athletic training, and Karlene Wickens, accountant, research and extension, food, nutrition, dietetics and health department. 

Ashley McCowan, instructor, and Yue Teng-Vaughan, assistant professor, hospitality management department. Ericka Bauer, instructor, will join the department in September.

Kendra Hodges, instructor, kinesiology department.

Hallie Alaniz, degree analyst, and Jessica Ayres, recruitment assistant, dean's office. 

Sujatha Prakash, program coordinator; Autumn Caycedo, medical director; Nikki Tucker, clinical director; David Brosa, clinical adjunct faculty; and Bradley Dirks, academic director, all with the physician assistant program.
