Tim Steffensmeier: Why I support the All-University Campaign
Submitted by Susan Wolf Berhow
Why do K-State faculty and staff support the All-University Campaign? The answers are as varied as the people themselves. For Tim Steffensmeier, associate professor and head of the department of communications studies, it's a way to show his support for programs on campus that he values.
"I support the All-University Campaign because there are significant financial needs for much of the good work that happens on this campus," he said. "For instance, our first-rate child care facilities on campus allow hundreds of student parents to pursue their degrees and provide their children with premiere early childhood learning experiences."
Steffensmeier's support of the campaign isn't limited to giving. He also serves as co-chair of the campaign.
"A small investment sends an important message that the employees of K-State believe in their workplace," he said.
As of this week, 37 percent of K-State faculty and staff have made a gift to the campaign. Have you made your gift this year? To make your gift, visit our designation Web page to browse thousands of giving options.
