Celebrate research administrators Sept. 25
Anyone who has engaged in sponsored research knows that budget, proposal, contract negotiation and regulatory processes can be daunting. Research administrators help scholars navigate these areas so they can focus their energies on research, scholarly and creative activities and discovery, or RSCAD. They also protect our institution and ensure that we spend our research dollars wisely. Simply put, their services are invaluable to K-State RSCAD.
The National Council of University Research Administrators has declared Sept. 25 National Research Administrator Day. Several colleges and units around campus employ research administrators who often work long hours to make sure proposals and all accompanying materials are submitted and that K-State researchers are in a position to compete for awards.
PreAward Services and Sponsored Programs Accounting would like to thank and recognize their hard work, dedication and service to the university by inviting the campus research administrator community for coffee, juice and rolls. Stop in anytime from 7:45-9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in the conference room in 102 Fairchild Hall.
