Upgrades and improvements to K-State Online instructor and student help
K- State Online is a simple, yet powerful set of tools for the classroom that is utilized by many instructors and students. For example, 98 percent of the faculty of the College of Business Administration use K-State Online and 86 percent of their courses are represented in K-State Online.
Do you have questions as you try to utilize K-State Online? K-State Online’s newly upgraded and improved extensive help index provides another way for familiarizing yourself with K-State Online and for troubleshooting. This help can be accessed in the top-right corner on any K-State Online page.
The K-State Online instructor and student help has recently been upgraded and includes many improvements:
- User interface: A new look that is more cohesive with K-State Online.
- Search button: Now located in the top right hand corner of the screen offers Google-style search results and display.
- Topics: View by content or index, print, or easily share the topic link. For example, topics now have unique and permanent URLs that can be easily shared such as public.online.ksu.edu/help/instructor/AxioInstructorHelp.htm#Resources/Topics/Roster_Overview.htm.
- New video tutorials: All video tutorials are in the process of being updated. The new videos are MP4 and include voice-overs. Click here for an example.
The K-State Online instructor and student help is just one way to learn more or answer your questions. The IT Help Desk, training sessions, reference guides and more are also great resources for K-State Online help.
