K-State Sports Properties senior manager Brett Foltz to speak in Business of Sports & Entertainment Speaker Series

K-State alumnus Brett Foltz will be the next speaker in the Business of Sports & Entertainment Speaker Series at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in the College of Business Building Lecture Hall.
Foltz began his career with Shocker Sports Properties at Wichita State University, before returning to Manhattan in 2015 to take his current role as senior manager — business development for Learfield IMG College — K-State Sports Properties. K-State Sports Properties is the official media rights holder for K-State Athletics, allowing it to offer corporate customers a customized marketing plan using assets including radio, television, signage, promotions, hospitality, social media, print and more.
The speaker series is organized by marketing professors Doug Walker and Janis Crow to support their MKTG630: Sports Marketing and MKTG625: Entertainment Marketing courses, as well as the college's Business of Sports & Entertainment Certificate Program. All speaker series events are open to visitors and no ticket is required.
