OIP Series: 'How to Raise Your International Academic Profile'

The Office of International Programs invites the K-State community to the 2019 OIP Seminar Series, "How to Raise Your International Academic Profile," from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 20 in Room 305 of the K-State Student Union.
Stacy Hutchison, associate dean for research and graduate programs in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering and professor of biological and agricultural engineering, will talk about her international experience and how international collaboration has advanced her research career.
Before joining the faculty at K-State, Hutchinson worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Ecosystem Research Division in Athens, Georgia. Since joining K-State, she has served as the interim Urban Water Institute director from 2013-2015, a visiting professor at Ecole d’Ingénieurs Purpan, Toulouse, France, in 2009–2010, and a Fulbright specialist at the National Mining University, Dnipro, Ukraine, in 2016. She is also appointed as a visiting fellow to the Hubei Selenium Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hubei Province, China, from 2017-2022.
