College of Education hosts undergraduate research, creative activities fair
The College of Education's curriculum and instruction department will host the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Fair from 2-3:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in 119 Bluemont Hall, with a senior art showcase in 118 Bluemont Hall. The event is open to the public for visitation.
Each semester, undergraduate students present their work that is developed in coordination with a faculty sponsor.
Some of the topics students addressed this semester include: "Interdisciplinary Art and Spanish Unit"; "Moving Past the Standard Essay with Michel de Montaigne"; "A critical review of EPIC! Reading App"; "Translated WWI French Soldier Diary"; "Multigenre Projects: Giving Students Choice"; and "Prescribed Pedagogical Outcomes Versus Real-World Experiences: A Content Analysis of Kansas AFNR Course Competency Profiles."
