Submitted by Frederick Burrack
Frederick Burrack, director of assessment, led the faculty of Oklahoma State University in an outcomes assessment in-service to guide future development of assessment processes.
The in-service was hosted by OSU's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
Burrack's presentations included "Why are we doing this assessment stuff?"; "What is the difference between grading and a student learning assessment process?"; "Aligning assessments with student coursework"; "Assessment data: What do we do with it?"; and "The value of assessment: Putting it all together." Burrack also met with each program in the College of Agriculture to discuss their individual assessment plans.
