Arts and sciences undergraduate students invited to apply for grant to help them travel the world
Did you know you could be granted $4,000 just to travel somewhere new outside the U.S.? Thanks to the Glenda Garrelts Mattes and Donald A. Mattes Wander Grant — International Travel Grant, one lucky ArtSci undergrad will be given the chance of a lifetime.
The Mattes Wander Grant is intended to provide the financial means to allow a student studying in the College of Arts and Sciences, who might not otherwise consider it, to travel abroad and meaningfully engage a new culture and setting for the first time. This is not to supplement an Education Abroad experience — it is solely for the purpose of exploration and travel.
Though receiving $4,000 just to travel the world may sound too good to be true, it isn't. Visit the Mattes Wander Grant website for more information and to apply by Feb. 15.
