Center for Principled Business launching new undergraduate case competition
The Center for Principled Business at the College of Business Administration is launching a new case competition this spring, open to all junior- and senior-level students enrolled at K-State during the spring 2020 semester. The K-State Business Innovation and Strategy Case Competition will award a total of $5,000 to top competitors.
Student teams will receive a business innovation case and will have two weeks to develop a written recommendation to address the dilemma. The analysis and recommendations will need to incorporate concepts related to innovation and business strategy while also addressing ethical and financial aspects of the case. Based on written reports, the top teams will be selected to present their plans to a panel of judges comprised of business executives. This competition is a great opportunity for students to develop their analytical skills while interacting with business professionals.
Teams can be made up of 3-4 students; students can learn more and register their team online.
The registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2. Event finals will take place from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 2.
